A news update from LP.com
This week, Linkin Park will travel to New Orleans to help build homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina with Music for Relief and Habitat for Humanity! The band will head to an undisclosed location affected by Katrina where, alongside fellow artist Coheed and Cambria, they’ll join volunteers from Music for Relief, and Habitat homeowner families to build homes in the damaged Gulf Coast area. “There is still so much work to be done on the Gulf Coast following the devastation of hurricane Katrina,” said bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell “Linkin Park is proud to be a part of the rebuilding process.”
Additional report from MFR says that LP will be bringing along a fan, Adrian Mulloy, who is the winner of the band's "What I've Done" sweepstakes, which required entrants to submit a video, less than two minutes in length, explaining what he/she has done to make the world a better place.
