Phoenix talks about playing big arenas.
Linkin Park has been playing some of the biggest venues of the band's career on its most recent stretches of touring, including two nights at London's O2 Arena and a sold-out show last week at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden. Bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell didn't hesitate when asked whether he ever misses playing smaller places like clubs. "The correct answer is probably yes, but in a lot of cases for me, it is nicer to be playing places like Madison Square Garden," he said. "It's definitely exciting to be able to come into a building and just look around and see like the history that's happened here, and to kind of be able to be, even if a tiny portion of it, to be able to be a part of that, I think for me is really special."
